Hey guys!
So I know I haven't posted in a while but I am back with a couple new posts and I thought I'd start off with my DIY Zero Waste Toothpaste!
I've put this off for over a year saying that I wanted to keep "testing and experimenting" but I honestly think I was too lazy to take pictures and upload.
But let's go ahead and get started!
If you are worried about the costs, the sea salt, coconut oil, and peppermint oil have lasted over a year and 2 months so far! Baking soda is about 70 cents.
Keep in mind everything but the coconut oil and essential oil can be found at your local bulk bins without packaging! I'm just using up some stuff I already owned.
Let's start with the most important!
Ingredients and supplies!
You will need:
A bowl
A Jar
Table Spoon (or measuring tools)
Sea Salt
Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil
Baking Soda
(Forgot to picture: Peppermint Essential Oil)
Let's start with dry ingredients!
You will need 2 table spoons of baking soda, just throw it in the bowl!
1/3 Teaspoon of Sea Salt (you can play around with this ingredient to your liking)
Now for the oils!
2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil into the bowl!
I put 6-10 drops of peppermint oil in but this is another ingredient where you can add to your liking. Remember!! You can add but cannot take out the oil! It's a better idea to add a little bit at a time after you completely finish your toothpaste!
Ready to mix!
That's more like it! Time to put into the jar!
You can double the recipe or cut it in half, anything really to fit your needs!
This batch will usually last me a month.
Added Bonus!
I finished up my coconut oil jar and now can reuse it!

So I recently took a trip up to the family cottage in Michigan. It just so happens that the cottage is full of little trinkets that you can spend hours exploring and looking at. I decided that I would capture some of my favorite objects and scenes around the house and share them with you guys today! Dirt and all! I hope you enjoy!

Hello beautiful people!
I'm back with another post about great art and great artists! The next few pieces you will see are by the artist Dan-ah Kim. I am just obsessed with her art! One because it has cats. Two because it has plants. And three because those girls are rocking those granny panties! I just happened to fall in love with this little series of illustrations, but she has tons and tons listed on her website which you can view, I will go ahead and link her website below. I hope you love these pieces as much as i do! Who wouldn't! They are absolutely adorable!
Enjoy!

Hello lovelies!
I'm very excited to spotlight some amazing illustrations! All of the illustrations I am going to feature in this post were created by Vanessa Van Meerhaeghe. I will of course will link her Flikr and Blog down below where you can find all of her work!
I was originally attracted to the way she illustrated the hair within her work. Though seeing more and more of her work, her subjects are also quite interesting! I'll post more below this text so you can see why I find the subjects themselves to be so interesting. Her limited color palette is also eye catching in her pieces. I will go ahead and post some of my favorite works done by her so you can explore and hopefully find a favorite of your own!
Enjoy!
There are many other sites in which you can find her work as well!
